About Club Rad

Curtin Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Students’ Society

Welcome to Club Rad, the official student society for Curtin University’s Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy students. We’re here to support, connect, and represent MRS students throughout their studies by creating opportunities for learning, networking, and fun.

Our goal is to build a strong and inclusive community within the Medical Radiation Sciences discipline, bridging the gap between different year groups and helping students develop both professionally and socially. Whether you’re in your first year or completing your final placement, Club Rad offers a space to meet peers, gain industry insight, and make lasting friendships.

What We Do

• Professional & Academic Support: Connected with the ASMIRT student representatives to share ASMIRT events and study resources to help strengthen clinical and academic skills.

• Social Events: From our annual Swan Valley Wine Tour  to the iconic X-rayted Cocktail night, we host events that celebrate the MRS community and help students unwind outside of study.

• Community & Support: We aim to create a friendly environment that encourages wellbeing, collaboration, and peer mentoring across all year levels.
